These terms (the “Terms”) apply to the participation of the coupon program (the “Program”) for purchases made through the Mercari Japan website (japan.us.mercari.com) and the Mercari Japan app (collectively, the “Platform”) and form a part of the Mercari Terms of Service (Platform). By receiving, redeeming, or using a coupon or otherwise participating in the Program, you agree to be bound by these Terms and the Mercari Terms of Service (Platform), including the arbitration provision, class action waiver, and jury trial waiver in the U.S. Appendix: Governing Law; Dispute Resolution, and all other applicable terms and agreements related to your use of the Platform.

Modification or Termination

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to modify, suspend, extend, discontinue, or cancel the Program, in whole or in part, including, without limitations, any terms, rules, features, benefits, rewards, coupon values, eligibility requirement, redemption conditions, or any other aspect of the Program at any time with or without prior notice. If we terminate the Program, any unused coupons will expire and will be void when the Program is terminated, unless otherwise required by law.

General

Coupons have no cash value, are not property or currency, are non-assignable and non-transferable, cannot be combined across accounts, and may not be sold or exchanged except as required by law. You have no vested right or interest in coupons, and we are not responsible for lost or stolen coupons. Images and descriptions in promotional materials are for illustrative purposes only and may differ from the actual items, packaging, or appearance. In the event of a typographical, pricing, or other inadvertent error in offer materials, Mercari Japan may correct the error and , where permitted by law, adjust or cancel the affected offer.

Eligibility

To participate in the Program, you must (a) be a registered user of the Platform, (b) reside in the U.S. with a valid U.S. street address, (c) redeem the coupon while located in the U.S., (d) register and verify your phone number, and (e) otherwise be eligible to use the Platform. For more information on verifying your phone number, refer to How to Verify Your Phone Number. Mercari Japan does not ship to APO (Army Post Office), FPO (Fleet Post Office), and DPO (Diplomatic Post Office). Offer is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

Coupon-specific terms and conditions

1. First purchase coupon

• The “First purchase” coupon is available to new and existing users who have not previously completed a purchase through the Platform.
• To redeem the coupon: , add an item to your cart then select the coupon at checkout.
• To be valid, the coupon must be redeemed between June 18, 2026 at 12:00 AM ET and July 5, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET.
• The coupon can be redeemed to receive up to 30% off one (1) item, applied to the “purchase price” only (excluding shipping fee, import duties and taxes, and any other fees or charges other than the purchase price), subject to the maximum discount amount of $25.
• The coupon will be automatically granted to eligible users.

2. TCG coupon

• The “TCG” coupon is available to new and existing users.
• The coupon can be redeemed only on items in the TCG (trading card game) category designated by us in our sole discretion.
• To redeem the coupon, add an eligible item to your cart then select the coupon at checkout.
• To be valid, the coupon must be redeemed between June 18, 2026 at 12:00 AM ET and July 5, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET.
• The coupon can be redeemed to receive 25% off one (1) eligible item, applied to the “purchase price” only (excluding shipping fee, import duties and taxes, and any other fees or charges other than the purchase price), subject to the maximum discount of $20.
• The coupon will be automatically granted to eligible users.

3. Sitewide coupon

• The “Sitewide” coupon is available to new and existing users.
• To redeem the coupon, add an item to your cart then select the coupon at checkout.
• To be valid, the coupon must be redeemed between June 18, 2026 at 12:00 AM ET and July 5, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET.
• The coupon can be redeemed to receive 20% off one (1) item, applied to the “purchase price” only (excluding shipping fee, import duties and taxes, and any other fees or charges other than the purchase price), subject to the maximum discount of $15.
• The coupon will be automatically granted to eligible users.

How to use coupons

To use a coupon, add an eligible item to your cart then select the coupon from the available coupons on the checkout screen. For more information about using coupons, refer to Mercari Coupons. All coupons must be applied at the time of purchase. You can view available coupons in My Page > Coupons.

Only one (1) coupon may be applied to each eligible item in your cart. A single coupon may not be applied to multiple items. However, multiple coupons may be used in a single transaction if the cart contains multiple eligible items and each coupon is separately applied to an eligible item in the cart.

Refunds and returns

If you cancel, return, or otherwise receive a refund for an order or item purchased using a coupon, your refund, credit, or other amount issued will equal the amount you actually paid for that order or item after the coupon discount, to the extent permitted by applicable law. However, because purchases are made through a proxy-buying process, there may be cases where an item cannot be purchased after an order request is placed (for example, if the item is sold out). In such cases, when the proxy purchase is canceled, the coupon used for the order will be returned to you. Due to system limitations, the reissued coupon will initially retain its original expiration date. If the coupon has already expired by the time it is reissued, a new coupon with the same discount rate and a new validity period will be issued at a later date.

Misuse

Mercari reserves the right to cancel, withhold, invalidate, or revoke any coupon, discount, or related benefit if we determine that fraud, abuse, misuse, or any violation of these Terms or any other applicable terms has occurred, including through the use of multiple accounts. In that event, you forfeit any coupon you have accumulated. We have the sole discretion to determine your compliance with these Terms. Our determination is final.
